Sarah Geiger and Maggie Stearns started this club after finding there were not many free networking clubs in the Phoenix/Scottsdale areas for new professionals. They are both PR professionals in the valley who want to get to know more people interested in the public relations, advertising and marketing fields.
They met at David and Sam PR in the training program last May and want to share their experiences and also learn more about the industry from other professionals.
AZPRC
AZPRC was started to help young professionals network and meet others in the industry. As active members in the Phoenix PRSA and the ASU Alumni Association, we encourage attendance and involvement with other organizations already established in the community. We attend local events on a regular basis to meet new people and grow our network. We think the best thing a young professional can do is meet new people within their industry and participate in local events. We hope by combining our networks with the people we meet, we can create a stronger community in the Phoenix area.
We meet on the third Tuesday of every month. We have guest speakers, talk about potential jobs, and discuss PR news/events going on in the valley. Please refer to our calendar for upcoming meetings and events.
